Hockley, TX community by EMBER ranks in the top five in Houston and top 20 nationally

XX, 2026) —  The Grand Prairie, a 1,730-acre master-planned community in Hockley, Texas, developed by EMBER, again ranks among the nation’s 50 top selling master planned communities for a second consecutive year on the prestigious annual lists prepared by recognized industry experts John Burns Research and Consulting (JBREC), and RCLCO Real Estate Consulting (RCLCO). Both independent research firms compile their rankings based on new home sales. 

The Grand Prairie, with 639 home sales for 2025, ranks #15 nationally on the 50 Top-SellingMaster Planned Community list published by JBREC and #17 on the Top 50 list published by RCLCO.  Last year, The Grand Prairie ranked #39 on the JBREC list and #41 on the RCLCO listfor the community’s first year of sales. Moving into the top 20 on each for 2025 reflect thecommunity’s continued accelerated growth.
